DVB-S2 TPs not detected by Azurewave AD-SP400 Twinham 1041

#1
Hi everyone, I have a problem with my PCI card that hopefuly you can help me with.

This is my PC:
Azurewave AD-SP400 Twinhan 1041 (DTV-DVB Mantis DVBS BDA Receiver 2.05 API version 1.34) which supports DVB-S2
Quad core 9550
ASUS 790 motherboard
4GB in RAM
8800GTX videocard
Windows XP SP2 (fresh)
I had installed PROGDVB 6.11.07, Cyberlink 9, VLC 0.8.6.
Twinham Mantis drivers 1.1.1.700

I have used PROGDVB 6.11.07 for a while, works great, I can see SD and even HD channels (non DVB-S2) awesome.

THE PROBLEM: I can´t detect TPs which have DVB-S2 channels, I have used blind search and nothing, I have wrote the exact data of the DVB-S2 channel in the "All" list of transponder text file, and it appears in the transponder in the program, but when I clic in lock and scan nothing happens.

I´m desperated looking for the solution, all I need is to watch DVB-S2 channels with ProgDVB, but I can´t even detect those TPs, just notice that some people confirm me that these DVB-S2 exist and are free.

Is it the 4GB? Is it the windows XP SP2? Do I need additional shoftware? Is my PCI card non DVB-S2?
Please help me!!!
Thanks

2. try scan transponder dialoig.
Thanks for the fast response, about it:
1. It is set correctly in Azurewave (Twinhan), should I change it maybe?
2. I have done that but it finds nothing

I must add that I have not put any plugin, because it is true FTA the channels I see now, should I put some to see DVB-S2? or what could I try?

Hi, how did you enter the TP? By any chance is your hardware and software similar to mine? I think the problem is a combination of hardware and software, but I´m getting crazy to find the answer!!! lol

I´ll follow your advice, and more information is more than welcome!!!
Thanks

Your WinXP+SP3 is 32 bits? How much ram do you have? after you downgraded fro 6.11.08 to 6.11.07 did you change anything else?
How exactly do you get the TPs with DVB-S2 signal? with blind scan or do you write the TP?

By the way i have installed and used the latest PROG DVB 6.20.1 and the same story :( I get no DVB-S2 TPs, even I let my PC with 2GB of ram assuming that could be the problem (just 1 more try in the million I´ve done :? ) what can I do?
Thanks

No, and as far as I know in the sat I´m looking there are not any other DVB-S2 TPs.

I know the TPs have DVB-S2 channels because 2 diferent sources have confirmed me that, but I can´t see them, I can´t even locate them with the exact information, TP,V,SR,S2 8PSK, Pilot off., or using blind scan (searching 1 mhz at a time)

Even I wrote that info in the transponder list (located in C:/Program files/progdvb/transponder) and the TP apears in the "Scan tranponder" option, I select it and then I clic in "Lock" so the "Scan" button becomes available, seconds later I clic in "Scan" and nothing happens. :(

Is there any option I´m not enabling to get DVB-S2 channels?

Yes, WinXP Pro 32 bits. 2GB RAM. Only downgrade of ProgDVB version and I get back DVB-S2 transponders using scan satellite option.

From version 6.11.08 ProgDVB doesn't recognize correctly some DVB-S2 transponders. Look at this screenshot:

What good version? I have used 6.11.07 and 6.20.1 with the same result; I can see SD and HD channels great, but I can´t detect and obviously see DVB-S2 TPs and channels.

By the way Prog, could you check the info I sent you? I´m using an 1.8mts offset antenna with a DMS C band LNB , with 70 quality - 98 strenght, that doesn´t afect, right?

Thanks for your info cynik909, but the scan doesn´t find signal in that TP, I´m getting crazy
