i've the terratec h5 usb stick and everytime i start progdvb i get a dba graph error. can somebody help me?

Possibly you don't have the codec (selected) installed.

Which codec? I'm new at this.

Digital TV, like DVD playback, requires decoders, to decompress and provide normal audio and video signals.

Normally, the original software package off the manufacturer's CD provides some.

In ProgDVB, check through Audio and Video settings, to select codecs, that are available on your system, or install the Elecard demo codec, that comes with ProgDVB, to get started.

The error says "Run DBA graph error!" and "Device not started". This comes from the codecs? Ok i try!

I`ve tried all config. with codecs but the error is still there.

This means, your tuner is recognized, but ProgDVB could not activate it.
One possible reason may be another application keeping it occupied.
If so, the first message would be normal, too.

There is no Service or task who uses the TerraTec H5. Are there other reasons for this error?

Did you install the original software, that came with that tuner?
Did it work?
Is it still installed?
BTW, does that tuner also appear as DVB-T, DVB-S or analog device?
If so, probably just one component may be activated at a time.

Generally, the BDA model of Microsoft can be called quite tricky.
In some cases, only the installer of an original software package can make a device available, but in a few other cases it may block it instead, exclusively for that software. Try and error may then be the only way to proceed...

Anyone else around here, who knows how to handle that tuner?
