Re: ProgDVB 6.6x testing

I cannot make the channel search not to work again.... so no bug there. I just do not know what happened.

But another bug for VMR7. Also for increasing the window size:

1. ProgDVB is in normal window mode but somewhere on the middle of the desktop.
2. Press the maximize button from the title bar.
Result: The overlay is not resided and only a part is visible.

Pretty much the same problem like the one from bug9 but other steps...

And another one for VMR7:
No12 Steps:

1. Press the Minimize button from the upper title bar. => the ProgDVB goes to taskbar as expected.
2. Click on the ProgDVB icon from the system tray.
Result: The window is restored but no preview and more. Instead of the overlay the desktop background is visible.

Note: Sometimes the steps 1 and 2 need to be repeated several times to reproduce the bug.

No 13: The playback of recorded files is always in 4:3 format for MPEG2 files.

1. Make sure you have have some MPEG2 recorded files in 16:9 format (*.mpg).
2. Go to the Recorded list and open the file for playback.
Result: The preview of the recorded file is in 4:3 format (elongated).

Note1: Works fine for H264 files.
Note2: The demux doesn't matter.
Note3: Any video render.

:) Yes I have not found any new bug. Great job.

I think that I have reproduced the channels search problem. But I will try one more time before saying when it happens. Anyway it seem to be a very particular problem and maybe you should not make changes there.

The search doesn't work in this case:

1. Fresh install => no channels (DVB-C so no channels exist in DB for this)
2. Make BlindScan
3. Channels found and displayed
4. Try to search for some channels in the list (Quick line or Find window)
Result: Nothing happens.
It starts working fine only after application restart and no problems afterward.

So the bug is there but it does not worth fixing because the workaround is very simple. This is just for common knowledge in case some else has the problem.

IN version 6.60 it is not possible to change channels by typing the number (from keyboard - and remote in my case). Only the channels list is open but the numbers are not set.

This worked fine on the last test version 6.59.2. I have reverted to this one.
