Hello everyone
I have a strange behaviour with ProgDVB free. It happens daily and even during a recording (which makes the whole recording useless then). Without a warning ProgDVB just loses the program it currently shows. The screen becomes black, indicators at the bottom (the one number without and the one number with a percentage) just vanishes, in taskbar when it would have said "ProgDVB [RTL]" it just says "ProgDVB" without a channelname. It takes 10-15 seconds then the program is back again. This does not seem to happen when I record a movie in the background with the ProgDVB-Scheduler-service.
Is there something wrong with the codecs then? Or any other setting? As you can see I'm running ProgDVB in safe mode. I'm sure I changed the multiplexor already some without efford (but can try again if advice is given).
I'm using Windows XP SP3 with a Hauppauge Nova-T Stick DVB-T Tuner Device
my main options
my video codec options
my audio codec options
my other options
Thanks for your help
Re: often losing program for some seconds
#3I tried that for the last days now. It seems to lose the program not this often now. But instead losing the program now it just crashes (window just disappears, no more video or audio) but ProgDvbNet.exe stays in memory. When I don't kill that process and just restart ProgDVB a message pops up that my DVB-T-device cannot be started. Otherwise (when ProgDvbNet.exe is killed) it just starts again.
Re: often losing program for some seconds
#4I dunno why but now it seems it crashes every time I press r for starting a record... have to wait ntil programm is back then and must press r again. Too bad there isn't a crashlog from ProgDVB telling which module crashed why...
Re: often losing program for some seconds
#5just wanted to say that alone today the program crashed now like 8 times and i think it will become some more before the day is gone. I didn't run anything resourceeating in the background. Kinda annoying...
