Using ProgDVB Pro and watching UPC package on 1°W. Now I switched to Skylink package on 23,5°E - and problem started. On many channels I get sync issues and audio distortion and video stuttering after a while. Tried all possible codec/demux combination but nothing works.
Using Cyberlink demuxer, EVR + cyberlink video decoder (MPEG2+H264), MS DTV for MP2 and AC3Filter for AC3, directsound renderer.
Compared identical channel from both packages - TV Joj:
1 - Thor 6 (0.8°W) 11766.00 V 28000 7/8
2 - Astra 3B (23.5°E) 11798.00 H 27500 3/4
Both packages use CW encryption, same MPEG2, DVB-S, cca identical bitrate, same MP2 audio, EPG. 1st one works fine, second has problems:
- directsound renderer clock stops at 48600Hz, breaks and silence raise (audio cracks) + video stutters after a while (dropping frames)
- this doesn´t happen on all channels, but many
- tried to use another MS demuxer: clock stops at 48600Hz, no breaks or silence but raising sync issue (Err)
- sometimes this corrects after few minutes, works fine few minutes but then again...
- tried another codecs (ffdshow, MS DTV, Elecard, nVidia, Arcsoft, DivX...) nothing works without audio/video problems.
Where´s the problem? Why channels on UPC work fine with Cyberlink and on Skylink not? There are also another channels (free) on other satellites which have the same problem. Thx.

Re: Audio/Video sync/stuttering problem
#2sync. depended from audio renderer and demux. also.
ps: Every provider have some specific in stream

Re: Audio/Video sync/stuttering problem
#3So, don´t you plan to make it work in ProgDVB? If it can work in other players flawlessly (DD, DVBViewer...) why not in ProgDVB ????
Re: Audio/Video sync/stuttering problem
#4Of course I plan and working on Prog demux. But I think you can fix that if read FAQ on site.
Re: Audio/Video sync/stuttering problem
#5No I can´t fix it. Can and using all possible codecs/demuxer/renderer combination. This issue is present on channels in the same package even on the same transponder. Example:
1 - Markiza - Astra 3A (23.5°E) 12565.00 H 27500 2/3
2 - STV3 (Trojka) - Astra 3A (23.5°E) 12565.00 H 27500 2/3
First one works fine, second has the issue. On STV3 I have to change video codec to ffdshow, while on Markiza, cyberlink works fine. Why is that?????

Re: Audio/Video sync/stuttering problem
#6Please record me 3-5 minutes samples of both channels in TS.
Re: Audio/Video sync/stuttering problem
#7Here it is:
STV3 (Trojka) - issues - http://www.sendspace.com/file/mr6o3r
Markiza - no issues - http://www.sendspace.com/file/oiptm6
When I play the recorded file back in MPC-HC (Haali/internal MPEG2 or H264/AC3Filter) everything is fine.
Another problematic channel is DiscoveryHD - http://www.sendspace.com/file/ueqgi8
How it acts:
1 - When using Cyberlink demuxer: video plays normally, but audio has lot of drops, cracks, graphclock stops at 48600Hz and the err. holds at some point (often 60-150ms)

2 - When using MS demuxer: video starts to stutter after some time, framerate drops down, audio plays fine. After few minutes this goes to normal, then after few minutes again stuttering.

- AP is off in ProgDVB
- timeshift is set in memory 200MB
- for AC3 I use AC3Filter (1.63b)
- for MP2 I use MS DTV Audio
- for MPEG2 I use cyberlink (v.10)
- for H.264 I use cyberlink (MS DTV works also, but it has some bad video distortion every few minutes)
Another finding - If I disable DXVA in cyberlink, then I can use it without problems for MPEG2 channels, but picture quality suffers.
I have Q6600@3GHz, ATI HD3870, 8GB RAM, Audigy 2, Panasonic TX-P46S20E @ 50Hz
