Hi,
I just installed both, did a channel scan, but I get video and sound for about a second, then the image freezes and the sound stops.
When changing the channel, I either get no video and no sound, or same as above happens.
My system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
Thanks for help,
Steinspecht

#2Do you have good signal? Check packet lost in quality "tooltip".
Re: ProgDVB v6.70.03 64bit and Terratec S7 with BDA driver
#3Quality tooltip says 98%, 9400 bytes lost (0,2%)
I have activated "logs" in Debug & Repair, but I can't find any logfiles - where are they?
No video / sound when switching to anotheer channel e.g. CNN. Signal at 98%, 1800 bytes lost

#4In logs directory.
ps: try progdvb x32.

#5do you mean, x64 doesn't work on a 64bit computer?
I tried Vista compatibilty mode, same problem.
I tried DVBviewerPro, all channels sound + video ok, so the problem is not signal quality, or the Terratec driver. DVBviewer has other problems, this is why I look at ProgDVB.
Looking now at DVBdream, but I still give ProgDVB a chance if you have good advice.

#6Work. But use x64 version of driver and codecs. If you check x32 version of DVBViewer then should compare with x32 version of ProgDVB.
Re: ProgDVB v6.70.03 64bit
#7I have similar problems with the new version -- actually it's not usable at all right now.
Occasionally the video/audio stops or is just asynchronous, which is not such a big deal (although I have the Pro version and would like to watch everything synchronized
). The bigger issue is that ProgDVB crashes my whole system. This usually goes like this: 1) ProgDVB startup 2) first audio then video starts playing 3) audio stops and plays like the last 50ms of audio in a loop 4) video stops 5) after some seconds system freezes completely. Sometimes it works without problems. Sometimes I need to restart like two times (without changing anything) until it works. Well what else can I say. Honestly, with respect, this is crap. The last version didn't make such huge problems.
Maybe my system specs can lead to a solution:
It would be nice if I could use an older version. @Prog could you please make some older versions available? (The links on the download page don't work). Maybe even more than two, so I could try which version works best (or maybe to see if maybe my card is broken or something).
I'd appreciate any help a lot. So thanks in advance.
...Nice new splash screen, though

Maybe my system specs can lead to a solution:
- Windows 7 x64
- TV Card: Geniatech Digistar 3 (Conexant chip) -- I'm aware of that this is not the best card
but ProgDVB was included as I bought it so I'm kind of assuming that it should work fine
- ffdshow 64bit drivers (and all used in ProgDVB ... I could try to update them, maybe this helps)
- DVB-S signal is definitely fine
