I am using ProgDVB Pro 6.93.01 X86 on Wi 7 pro.

I have a DiSEqC switch, version 2. Format 4 -> 1 and two satellites, 19.2 Astra and 28.2 Eut/Astra.

For some reason BBC 3 and BBC 4 fail to appear in my channel list. for 28.2. I have looked on BBC sites, King of SAT and a few others for the co-ordinates. I see that the BBC have done some jumping around.

I managed to get the BBC Red Button on Freq 10773250 Pol H Stm Rate 22000 Mod QPSK SID 6390 PID 5400 on Sat 28.2, but I simply cannot track down BBC 3 or 4


King of sat tells me at "_http://en.kingofsat.net/channelhistory.php?ch=1606" that I can find BBC 4 here since 2012-10-12...

BBC & Freesat & Sky Digital: BBC Four has left 10803.00MHz, pol.H (DVB-S SID:6416 PID:5600/5601 English,5602 English)
BBC & Freesat & Sky Digital: New frequency for BBC Four: 10773.00MHz, pol.H (DVB-S SR:22000 FEC:5/6 SID:6316 PID:5200/5201 English,5202 English- Clear).

But it simply does not get found by blind scan, manual scan or full scan.

I don't know how to do a Pid search but nothing else that I know can find it.

Can anybody help with either BBC 3 or BBC 4 please ?

This maybe a silly question but are you doing a channel scan when the channels are on the air i.e. after 19:00 hours?

I have exactly same issue with CNN international on Astra 19.2

Channel gets locked, but scan return zero results.

When it comes to BBC channels on Astra 28,2 my antenna is just not properly set and big enough to receive the signal. So I see only signal strenght, and quality sometimes jumps to 16 percent, but I usually see zero.

(I am in Bratislava, few kilometers from Vienna)

cnn international (19,2). Works perfect here. With automatic search. I live in madrid(spain).

In case you haven`t yet discovered this re BBC4. It shares the Freesat channel with CBeebies. In Progdvb the scan shows the channel just as CBeebies but after 7pm it`s BBC4.
