Hi, i use ProgDVB in TV Window mode, while I am working on PC.
I dont like deformed picture aspect ratio, and also dont want to have cutted edges from picture.

I watch DVB-T with broadcasting 16:9 and 4:3.
I have set "Aspect ratio" to auto, so I never have deformed picture. But when I set window size to my wish, for 16:9 size, when broadcasting switch to 4:3 I have black area on left and right side of picture (it is a waste of visible area when U are working on PC). And, of course, when i set the window size to a 4:3 picture, when broadcasting switch to 16:9, i have black area on bottom and top of picture. Again a waste of visible area...

But! U have a very good solution in ProgDVB, set "Zoom 100%". Then there is no waste of visible area, and the window size is automatically changig according to aspect ratio! Works great, and there is no window border, so this mode is really good, problem is, that this window is too big...
My screen resolution is 1400x1050 and a SD window takes too much visible area from the screen... Also when I use the "Zoom" function, the window size remain the same, and when set to 80% then there are black borders around the picture, with the same window size...

So my whish is, when "Zoom 100%" is switched ON, then the "Zoom" function (+ and - keys) should change the window size, not only the picture size...

Thanks :-)

It is no problem if no control with keyboard...

I only mean the "Zoom" functionality is already in the program, but it should work in another way when in "TV Window" mode and "Zoom 100%" is swithced on... It should change the window size, not only the picture size.

Or, I would be also happy, if You give a possibility "Zoom 50%", "Zoom 75%"...

Or maybe if You have any other idea, how the users can watch TV in Windowed mode with:
1. correct aspect ratio
2. no cutted edges
3. the window size will automatically change it size according to changing aspect ratio in broadcasted signal... (so that there is no waste of screen visible area)

But I think the first variant give the best options (1 to 400 % Zoom), You dont need to add more buttons in the user interface, and as a bonus, it is already working with keyboard...
Fist variant I mean, the "Zoom" change the window size, when in "TV Window" and "Zoom 100%" is on. Now the "Zoom" change the picture size in fixed window size, so when over 100% the edges are cutted, when less then 100% there are black borders...

Is posible hbbtv module?. Not necesarily a direct module integrated in progdvb(thats a lot of work). But maybe a "indirect" module.

Fox example, you select hbbtv command. And progdvb open firefox for you with hbbtv webpage from channel, and the remote control plugin "simulate the keys". You close hbbtv, progdvb closes firefox.

example:
https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/firehbbtv/
http://www.rtve.es/xl/hbbtv/lanzadera
winxp,pctv 310i analog,fm,DVB-T,skystar HD2 + CI dvb-s2

I know in spain directly in web browser.

Telecinco:

Orbyt:

Telemadrid:

hbbtv, normally permit you view shows you lost, or view old shows. and mejored teletext etc...

Im not sure, how hbbtv is transported in TDT, because progdvb can`t detect the hbbtv pid

tve is only detected pcm, pcr, video, teletext, and ecm pid.

but i know tve emited hbbtv in tve international in hotbird(to test easily). And I think, other european satellite broadcaster support hbbtv, as france 24, zdf, ft1, etc...

hbbtv pid it's only 3kbps pid only to tell you: go to www. :)

Prog wrote:You can try sort transponders in list (text file) and check.
I did this when I have SkyStar HD2 and TBS 8920 card. Sorting cause scan process to go faster. Unfortunately I cant remember that sorting effect on which one of them.
