After a time i instaled Progdvb to see how it is going.
As a C band user, I see that things are worst: besides the old bugged and unfinished parts, now even the Userlists frequencies cant be used.
So, from the fix lists maybe is Progdvb turning into ProgIPTV or something else?
Re: Where is this going to?
#2Yes, most last updates for IPTV/ITV. But what problem with C-Band?
ps: Frequency list is not user function. Actually for geek..

Re: Where is this going to?
#3I found the problem is that all.list is in Progdvb install directory, but Userlist was looked for in c:\programdata\progdvb\...
If all those installation configs and their not obvious consequences is not for "geek" level, what else can be?
Why not just keep the whole program in installation directory instead of fragmenting parts in several unknown directories?
And there´s a bug with the install option "shared configs": the Tv Souces is not found or saved, and one have to force close the Souces dialog. Then when opening, Progdvb asks again to configure tv sources, but there´s no red items shown.
So is it really necessary that problematic "shared configs" install option?

default path of ProgDVB in Program files. This directory is read only for application. ProgDVB not can write any data to program files and use data directory.

Re: Where is this going to?
#6This an old old problem, maybe Prog has new ideas to solve it. It is about many AAC tv audio channel that doesnt open sound: Progdvb says it is mpeg, but we know they are AAC audio. Sometimes it opens ok, always using Microsoft DTV audio codec (bypass our selected codec). VLC and WMP play it nice.
The sample has 10sec. just to fit in this post.

Re: Where is this going to?
#7Can you record me more sample and put on ftp or some site? Need 3-5 minutes.
ps: AAC and mpeg have very close headers...

Re: Where is this going to?
#8Now, if you do a manual transponder scan, the sat channel list is deleted, and a new one with only manually scaned channels remain...

#10How we use ftp? It asks for a password...Prog wrote:Can you record me more sample and put on ftp...
Re: Where is this going to?
#11Yes, in 6.95.7 scan problem is present.Prog wrote:Ops. last version?
Re: Where is this going to?
#12Ok, uploaded to ftp 2 samples with AAC problem. The HD sample has 30 seconds, more size would take forever to upload

Re: Where is this going to?
#14Ok, tested version 95.7b.
a- Manual channel scan problem is fixed.
b- AAC/ADST audio is ok, only if audio processor is active.
c- AAC/LATM audio not ok (theres a short HD sample I uploaded to ftp, you can test with it).
So audio not ok, I think if audio processor is optional, AAC should work without it, isnt it?
