'Cause someone did not care on merging the formerly separate download pages
For the same reason, the download links for older versions are gone.
Second aspect has been reported before here, but again, obviously noone feels responsible 'up there'...
So this is to Prog:
Please bring back the download links for older versions and the change log for 4.x versions.
If you don't want to have this in the download section anymore, why not place it in "history"...
A users, who prefers some older version, like for technical reasons, should not have to look elsewhere.

People just had access to the few old versions you had linked on the old 4.x download page, and all they want is, getting those back, or another set of some well working earlier versions.
For example, earlier versions of ProgDVB did support the hardware benefits of the SS1 cards in full, but modern versions don't. Due to some other issues, like trouble with the playback slider, 4.75 was the last really good one, for users of the SS1 hardware TV out SS1 for playback. And that's what they were made for...
Old versions are to be found all around, but that's nothing but illegal copies, and probably several of those infected.
So a small but good collection of around ten old versions would be fine here.

I have an SS1 and I agree with you. I am lucky that I have saved more of the old versions locally on my PC.
My SS1 is already 7 years old and a few months ago I got a new card without the hardware mpeg2 decoding but it cannot be compared with the old SS1. So, it will stay in the box as long I can use the SS1.
Please put back in ProgDVB all the functions that have been removed and were specific for this card (like the OSD).
