Re: ARD HD (Das Erste), ZDF HD, ARTE HD scramble problem

I have TBS6980 Card with ProgDVB I just recently baught.
Win 7 - 64Bit, i7Core-975 with NVidia 9800, two monitors with 1680x1050 resolution.

HD Videos start scrambling and stuttering (also with sound) quite soon, standard resolution will stutter and finnally also lock after some time. System load about 6% when watching std channel with Media Center.

Windows Media player works without problem, but I hate the user interface and I also want to have recording on second channel while watching annother.

F-Secure moans every few seconds about Progdvbnet.exe being started and wants confirmation, if I choose secure mode, - very nasty - so no secure mode possible.

Once ProgDVB has been started and closed, either normally or due to program freeze, it is not possible for Windows media center to connect to card again,- until rebooted.

Looks like the interface is not closed properly ...

how to make it work?

I have to correct.
Now updated to Version 2.xx of the TBS6980 with 64bit Driver and tried different settings.
At least I can now find that Media center now will run tv if ProgDVB is closing without error.

I increased Priority to the one below TimeCritical but when watching HD it still happens that speech and Video are desynchronizing (speech is delayed compared to the video). The finally the speech will turn off.

At least it looks like std. tv channels are ok and there are only very few hickups in sound. (once or twice an hour).

Now I have switched the renderer setting to VMR-9 (Requires DirectX 9).

Operation appears to be stable now and stuttering video / sound appears to be fixed.
