Hello!

I have a Newmi DM20s DVB-S BOX USB, it runs with standart Software(DVB Player), but now i installed Prog DVB because its better, but it doesn´t go with my Box.

On the Driver CD there is DirectX with BDA Driver but I cant install it.
I have DX Version 8, on the CD there is Version 9.0c. The installation goes very fast and it doesn´t install anything. Can i install the bda driver by copying the files into the folders?

In the forum i read about a existing Driver for it, but i didn´t found it.

Can anyone help me??

I'm sure, the BDA component of DirectX is NOT a bundle containing any DVB card drivers.

But you can find out on your own, by opening that BDA.cab with IZArc, for example, and looking into .inf files with your fasvourite editor.

However, for any hardware drivers, first look at the pages of the hardware manufacturer, as usual...

ProgDVB also does NOT provide any drivers, the device files are interfaces, that contact existing drivers, to enable ProgDVB to control the hardware.

I think i send back the Newmi box, it goes only sometimes.
What Usb boxes are supportet by progdvb???

I´m thinking about a Technisat Skystar Usb plus box..

Sorry lad, I don't have any USB1.1 or 2.0 DVB device over here.
