Problem with Lifeview LV9H Hybrid ExpressCard.

#1
Hello all. I have a laptop with an ExpressCard slot and I have bought the LV9H card http://www.notonlytv.net/p_lv9h.html. I want to use this card with ProgDVB v6.20.3, at least in the DVB-T part. The driver version of my card is 3.9.0.2 (date is 25/08/2006) and the card is recognized in Device Manager as "USB Hybrid Device" (strange name because it's not USB)! I use Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2. I think that the card is relatively new, but the driver seems to be rather old! Anyway...

I have selected the "BDA device" during ProgDVB installation along with "Analog device" and I have managed to scan for DVB-T channels successfully! The problem is that the cooperation between the card and the program is not very stable. Many crashes exist along with signal losts.

Here my questions:
1. Should I try the 6.11 version with engine 3.x? Is it more stable than the new 4.x?
2. Does anybody have this particular 34mm card, so that can help me?
3. Which is the more stable video renderer I should choose? I don't care for OSD.
4. Which is the more stable MPEG-2 filter I should choose? I am asking you because I have noticed many crashes of ProgDVB 6.11 and above when latest ffdshow is being used. I have verified these crashes in 3 different PCs/DVB-S cards, so it has to do with the program. Why is that? FFdshow is my favourite filter, but to resolve this problem in my desktop PC, I decided to use the Elecard filter and I have no crashes.
5. Is it possible to use ProgDVB for watching analog TV channels with this card? Thanks.

PS: This is the first time I am trying to watch TV from a laptop!
