How can I export Channel list to have it in "human readable" form? Opening every channel separately and copying by hand is not practicable, and direct editing of Channel-List-Files (files of the name form CL-AAAA-BB-CC-DD-EEEEEE.tree where A/B/C/D/E are obviously HEX-Numbers) neither.
Is there a way to get the channel list in clear text out of those files? Or is there any other form for getting a "database list" of all found channels? It should have a form where all the fields (incl. all PIDs etc.) are mentioned, like Channel name, Provider, Network, Transponder, all PIDs etc.
And if export of "clear text" (CSV or Text-Tab-delimited etc.) would be possible, import of (any number of) channels would also be a nice thing.
Btw.: looking at that brings me to a possible source of the other mentioned grouping bug ...
Re: How to export Channel List as CSV / Text-Tab-delimited F
#2It is impossible. Too many fields in every channel.
Re: How to export Channel List as CSV / Text-Tab-delimited F
#3Hmm ... it can't be impossible as the info itself is needed for each channel - but obvoously it is not (yet) implemented - and not planned to be implemented ...

Re: How to export Channel List as CSV / Text-Tab-delimited F
#4Hmm, today I got an eMail telling me that there would be another answer to that thread ... But there is nothing ... So I assume it was SPAM that was deleted ...
Anyway: the question is still open – and "too many fields" for not exporting the data is just not a very plausible excuse ...
Please implement some kind of export function!
And please also implement an import function (out of such an export list).
Thank you ...
