I am on Win 7 32 Proff. I have two satellite dishes, one aligned to 8.2 Astra 2, A B D and the other to Astra 1, 19.2. Both have quad LNBs.

Both work fine on individual cable runs to a physical TV tuner 40 metres away, and thence to a TV.

Bothe dishes are adjacent to each other. I want to set up a system where I join the two cable runs at the dish end and run one only cable 40 Metres to the tuner as before. So I need to place a DiSEqC just after the two cables leave each LNB. As I say, I have gone for DiSEqC switches and I have four *STARCOLD SG-D45 4x1 (for the future) Freq 900 - 2200MHz switches, version 2.0. Made in Sweden, but bought in Saudi ARabia, so international.

I have tried ProgDVB on a cable that I know to be good. From my ASTRA 2 dish to my PV via a VideoMate S350 DVB PCI Tuner Card which I initially set up using the Compro software. I attached the uninterrupted cable from the ASTRA2 satellite. It works fine.

Now I have joined the two cables at one DiSEqC as I described. I used the LNB1 and LNB 2 connections (there are physically four connections on the DiSEqC but I have only 2 satellites). The result has been disappointing. ProgDVB still shows its channel list as one wouldexpect. But no TV emissions - no surprise because the DiSEqC settings are nor defined by me.

So after all of that (thanks for your patience) Where do I program the DiSEqC and what are the settings please

1. After changes in TV Sources you must scan channels again.
2. Check Settings->Device options->mode

But When I follow your menu path nothing happens. And ALT+D doesn't do anything either..

Very odd. I'm going to try a re-install.

try install modern version to new/empty directory.
