When not being used with Avermedia's TV software most buttons seem to work as a mouse click. I have no idea about an API.

I'm not sure. It's an Avermedia one that came with the TV card. Is there a way to tell beyond that?

Hi guys, I have an Avermedia remote control (for use with a dual tuner card). It works perfectly with Avermedia's software, but with ProgDVB I can't get it to do much.

Is there are an easy way to get it working with Prog?

So that was a waste of time. The latest version killed both my original x64 install and the new x86 ProgDVB, so the channel search finds nothing. I've tried many, many times. It's useless. Maybe the X86 version would find the Cyberlink filter, but it's broken now, so it doesn't matter.

So I recently installed a new SSD, and have started with a new copy of Windows 8. ProgDVB runs fine (I get sound, no picture), but I can't get the PowerDVD filter to be registered, as I had it before. Thanks, it took me a bit to figure out what happened. PowerDVD's uninstall failed and left some broken codecs. I reinstalled PowerDVD again to get things working again.

I'm am now getting this error after running ProgDVB under Windows 8 for some time. The issue seems to have come after installing WinDVD 11. How do I sort this mess out? I have no clue about fixing codec messes under Windows. Do I have to now go and get the 32bit version, or is there another solution?

I've tried both long (30mins) and short recordings (like this sample) and I get the same thing. If it helps, I'm running the latest ProgDVB Pro (64bit), which was upgraded from ProgDVB free. I'm on Win7.

Am I missing something, or is ProgDVB unable to play back its own recordings? When I click on a recoding I get a short bit of sound, and then nothing.
