I did a clean re-install, at C:/ProgDVB, set compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 2, run as administrator.

Then I ran a scheduled task to open ProgDVBNet.exe, but this error was listed in Task Scheduler:
0xE0434F4D

It did not open at the scheduled time, 16:57:22 (which was done for testing ...

I set ProgDVBNet.exe to run in task scheduler, and this is the error it generated from eventvwr.msc (event viewer):

6.50.1 has some problems running under Windows 7 Ultimate, I have to disable User Account Control - UAC
- and it won't run as a scheduled task either, even when I set it to run from the built-in Windows 7 Administrator account.

Any other versions compatible with Windows 7 or its task scheduler?

I get a similar problem too. I use the Hibernate setting (powercfg -h on) in order to stop physical switch-on/off of the machine when I need to.

I set two recordings for the following times (my timezone is GMT/London):
05:55:00
09:45:00

and in the task scheduler set this program to run - "C:\Program Files\ProgDVB\ProgDvbNet.exe"

However, it only recorded the second one, the first program did not record at all.

I installed ProgDVB 6.49, and it recently crashed upon install, this was what I got:

I did a malware/spyware scan, but no viruses were found, so I don't understand what's causing this ...

I wish to set a recording at 08:00 GMT, London time, how would I do this in Scheduled Tasks?
Currently I set it to just run ProgDVBNet.exe, but should I do ProgDVBService.exe

What scheduler mode? Try not use service mode.

I've disabled the ProgDVB Service in Vista. As for the scheduler, the part that says "Scheduler" on the service part of the menu is what I meant.

Also, is timeshifting recommended for taping programs later than usual (since my tuner can't find ITV2 ...

I downloaded the latest edition, 6.49.4 and it worked OK up until I set some scheduled recordings.
Manual recording seems to work well, but not scheduled. The scheduled tasks were done first of all via the scheduler, and scheduled tasks to open ProgDVB when I was away from the PC.
